| February 2024

A safari that takes in some of the most iconic natural reserves in the world: in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, we will cover Tarangire National Park, the Ngoro Ngoro crater that will remind you of the original Garden of Eden, and the infinite Serengeti. Our accommodations are all top of the line and include treetop huts, colonial style lodges, and luxury tented camps.
We will wrap up the trip with a flight to the dreamy island of Zanzibar for some downtime on the sandy white beaches in a luxury boutique hotel, and including guided visits of Stonetown and excursions by boat to the sand bars and for swimming and snorkling.

After breakfast, we begin our safari with a drive towards Tarangire National Park (2 hours drive). Tarangire is known for the diversity of wildlife that can be spotted, but also for its spectacular baobab trees. Large herds of elephants and migratory wildebeest, as well as zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland gather here. Not surprisingly the predators follow, with lion being among the most commonly spotted animal. Overnight at the Tarangire Kuro Treetops Lodge. Day 3In the morning, we will spend some time exploring the other side of Tarangire, before heading out to visit a Masai village and get an understanding of the culture and way of life of the last nomadic tribe in Tanzania. We will then proceed to the Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge to relax by the pool with a drink overlooking the valley and the lake. Picnic lunch and dinner at the lodge.
Day 4After breakfast we drive towards the Ngorongoro crater (1.5 hours) for a game drive and wildlife watching with picnic lunch. This amazing and vast volcano caldera with its lakes and huge diversity of animals will feel like the original Garden of Eden…In the afternoon we continue crossing the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the entrance of the legendary Serengeti National Park (2 hours drive). We continue the game drive towards our accommodation at Nimali Central Serengeti Luxury Camp for a true safari experience.
Picnic lunch and dinner at the camp.
Day 5We will dedicate the day to exploring the Serengeti Park, the most famous park of all Africa, and which, with an area of more than 15,000 square kilometers, is the setting for the huge animal migrations. This picture-perfect landscape is characterised by endless stretches of savannah plains interspersed by rocky outcrops of granite and scattered with acacia woodlands and covered in a network of rivers and streams. The Central Serengeti forms part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and provides an ideal habitat for a variety of wildlife such as giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, buffalot, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, serval and much more.
As an optional extra, you can book a sunrise balloon ride over the plains, an experience that is hard to capture in words…
Picnic lunch, and the evening we will have a special private dinner in the bush.Overnight at the Nimali Central Serengeti Luxury Camp.
Day 6In our final morning in the Serengeti, you can enjoy an optional sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, then at 9 AM transfer to the nearby airstrip for the flight to Zanzibar.

Day 7Start the day with an excursion by boat to Prison Island to see the giant tortoises, before continuing to swim and have lunch on a sandbar. We then return to Stonetown for a guided walking tour of this colourful town where several civilizations and styles are juxtaposed. After some time for shopping, enjoy a sunset drink at the Africa Hotel, before returning to the hotel for dinner.
