Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 April 26Arrival in Milan by late morning or early afternoon. Transfer by private bus from Milan airport to Verona (approximately 2.5 hours). Free afternoon to explore the city, and overnight at the Hotel Accademia.
Day 2 April 27
Private 3 hour walking tour of the charming Verona, home of Romeo and Juliet. In the afternoon, take a private bus to Tirano, a crossroads of culture between Italy and Switzerland, and known as the starting point of the spectacular Bernina Red train. Tirano is an art city full of palaces, churches, small squares and fountains, and one of the richest historical centers in the Alps. Overnight in Tirano at the Hotel Centrale.
Day 3 April 28In the morning, board the famous Bernina Express that runs along a UNESCO World Heritage Site railway, and cross the Swiss Alps towards St. Moritz while enjoying the spectacular views. The ride takes approximately 2.5 hours, after which we checkin at the Hotel Schweizerhof in St. Moritz, the famous glitzy resort. In the afternoon we will explore the town as well as take two rides in a funicular train and gondola to enjoy the surrounding views. Overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 4 April 29On this day we take the Glacier Express from St. Mortitz towards Zermatt, for an 8.5 hour train ride through beautiful Swiss Alps landscapes admired from the panoramic windows of the train. The train crosses 291 bridges and 91 tunnels, making this one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. Zermatt is a beautiful resort town that sits in the shadow to the Matterhorn summit. Checkin at the Unique Post Hotel, and enjoy the town in the evening.
Day 5 April 30In the morning, take the Gornergat Cog Railway that climbs up to 3100 m and offers unforgettable views of the Matterhorn and other surrounding peaks. After an early lunch at the top, take the drive back down to Zermatt where we take a private bus, crossing the border again to the Italian town of Domodossala. From there we catch an afternoon train to Lucerne (Lugano) where we checkin at the Ameron Luzern Hotel.
Day 6 May 1This is a day to explore Lucerne. Take a boat ride on the lake and a guided walking tour of the old medieval town that sits amidst snowcapped mountains. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 7 May 2Take the morning train to Milano Central Station and from there to Milan airport for departure. Those who wish can stay extra days in Milano.

The price per person is Euros 3800 on a double occupancy basis, and Euros 4500 in single occupancy.

This trip is open for reservation. Final deadline for registering is Nov 30, 2024.

1- Cash payment in USD, or

2- Bank transfers to a bank outside Lebanon (please enquire about bank details)

Terms

  1. To confirm your spot, a down payment of Euros 1250 is requested. Second payment of Euros 2000 by January 31. Balance by March 15.
  2. Trip will be cancelled if the  group size of 10  is not reached by November 30. All down payments will be returned in that case.
  3. The downpayment is non-refundable once a group of 10 has been formed and confirmed, unless a replacement guest is found.
  4. Cancellation before Jan 31: non-refundable down-payment.
  5. Cancellation between Feb 1 and Feb 28: 50%, unless a replacement guest is found.
  6. Cancellation between March 1 and March 31: 75% unless a replacement guest is found.
  7. Cancellation between April 1 and April 26: 100% unless a replacement guest is found.
