Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar

There is something that is hard to capture in words about the feeling of being a guest in the territory of animals roaming freely. Here, one feels “lucky” and “more civilized” almost by chance…the overwhelming feeling is that we are but one cog in a chain, one of the weakest if not for our advanced brains of the hundreds of species that fill and roam these lands. From the baobab and acacia landscapes of Tarangire, to the Garden-of Eden Ngorongoro, to the vast savannas of the Serengeti, these close encounters will not fail to leave their mark. And after such intensity, despite the vastness and stillness, one definitely needs a three day transition on the amazing Zanzibar beaches, before having to face other humans again.
