Two years on, we returned to Uzbekistan for another unforgettable 12-day journey along the Silk Road. Once again, we immersed ourselves in the timeless beauty of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva—cities that feel plucked straight from the pages of an Aladdin tale. We marveled at the intricate artistry of their mosques, madrasas, palaces, and monumental gateways, each pattern telling a story centuries old. The bazaars still sparkled with carpets, suzanis, silk, spices, and handmade treasures. We revisited the legacy of the formidable Tamerlane, exploring both the triumphs and controversies of his reign. And with the engaging expertise of Charles Al-Hayek (Heritage and Roots), we gained deeper insight into how this rich history has rippled across the world, including our own regions. Once more, Uzbekistan revealed its magic—an experience as enchanting and essential as ever.
