Finding Aurora 2025

On this extended edition of our signature winter journey, we ventured deep into Finnish Lapland—over 250 km above the Arctic Circle—immersing ourselves in one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes on earth. Beginning in Helsinki, we explored the Finnish capital before continuing to Rovaniemi, the gateway to the Arctic and home of Santa Claus Village, and onward to Saariselkä. On the program was the full spectrum of Arctic experiences—from reindeer- and husky-led safaris in search of the Northern Lights, to to a magical day with the Sámi herders taking care of hundreds of reindeer.  We stayed in a carefully selected mix of modern Scandinavian-style suites and intimate hilltop glass-roof cabins, where panoramic views of the Lappish wilderness—and the dancing aurora—could be enjoyed from the warmth of our rooms. We were spoilt on our last night with one of Earth’s most magical displays, as the Northern Lights danced magically for us across the huge sky.
