Along the way, indulge in curated private experiences that will immerse you in the spirit of Andalusia – from gastronomic delight and wine tastings, to a live demonstration at a fighter bull breeding farm.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 May 28:Arrival in Malaga and transfer to the Palacio Solecio boutique hotel, a historical building in the heart of the old city. Guided walking tour or the old city center, followed by dinner reservations.
Day 2 May 29:
Departure by private bus towards Ronda, one of the most beautiful small cities of Spain. On the way, stop for a unique experience in a bull breeding farm, where we will meet a real Matador and participate in a cow-fighting activity to determine the cows worthy of breeding fighting bulls. After a private catered lunch, we continue to Ronda and check in at the Hotel Reina Victoria, on the famous Ronda cliffs. An afternoon private guided tour will follow, taking in the Puente Nuevo, the bull fighting rink, the Mondragon Palace, and the Arab Baths. Free dinner.
Day 3 May 30:Easy morning to enjoy the hotel pool or wander the streets of old Ronda, before moving to a local winery for a wine tasting and multi-course lunch paired with local wines. Continue on to Seville and checkin at the Hotel Las Casas del Rey de Baeza.
First workshop with Charles Al Hayek: The History of Andalusia.
Dinner reservations.
Day 4 May 31:Private guided tour of Seville: the Cathedral and La Giralda in the morning as well as the streets of the old town and a visit to a historic private palace. Free afternoon after lunch to explore the city, followed by a private after-hours visit of the Alcazar of Seville and its gardens. Dinner reservations.
Day 5 June 1:Depart towards Cordoba, with a stop for lunch in the Parador di Carmona. Carmona is a white town rich in history built on a ridge overlooking the central Andalusian plain. After lunch, we have the second workshop with Charles: The Great Cities of Andalusia.

Continue towards Cordoba and before entering the city, stop to visit the archaeological site of Madina Al Zahara. Checkin at the Hotel Palacio Colomera. Free evening to explore the city.

Day 6 June 2:In the morning, the third workshop with Charles: Etiquette and the Flavors of Andalusia.
Free lunch to explore the city, before the private guided visits in the afternoon taking in the Alcazar and the Mezquita – Catedral de Cordoba. Free dinner.
Day 7 June 3:Depart in the morning toward Granada, and upon reaching the city, checkin at the Hotel Seda Club. Lunch in the center before an afternoon private guided walking tour of the old town. Around sunset, enjoy a gypsy flamenco show in the caves, before moving to the Albaicin neighborhood for a short walk and dinner overlooking the Alhambra.
Day 8 June 4:Departure towards Malaga airport, with a lunch stop (depending on timing) at Antequera.

Payment and Terms

This trip is open for reservation. Downpayments received before October 20 benefit from a 10% discount on the cost of the trip.

Payment Options

All guests:

1- Cash payment in USD, or

2- Bank transfers (please enquire about bank details).

Terms

1- To confirm your spot, a down payment of 20% (Euros 1230) is requested. Second payment (40%) on November 1; final payment on March 1.
2- Trip will be cancelled if the minimum group size is not reached by December 31. All down payments will be returned.
3- Cancellations after a group of 10 is formed:

  • 20% if cancellation is between Nov 1 and Jan 31.
  • 30% if cancellation is between Feb 1 and March 31.
  • 70% if cancellation is between April 1 and May 12.
  • 100% if after May 12.

5- No penalty is incurred if a replacement guest is found by the canceling guest.
6- All efforts will be made to minimize the penalties, but the above percentages represent the worst case scenario.
